Important Pet Food Safety Recall Notice Marshall County Co-Op’s supplier, Mid America Pet Food, has issued a voluntary recall of all Victor dry dog and cat food with Best by Dates before 10/31/2024 due to potential Salmonella contamination. The product included is any dry dog and cat food by Victor. This does not include canned food or treats.
Salmonella can affect animals eating the products, and there is a risk to humans from handling the contaminated products, especially if proper hand washing methods aren’t used after handling the product.
Customers who have purchased this product should stop using it immediately. Thoroughly clean any surfaces and feed bowls that may have come in contact with the product, including your hands. In order for you to receive credit for the product on the return, we will need you to physically bring in proof of purchase such as a receipt from the Co-Op. If you do not have a receipt we ask that you provide the UPC code cut from each bag and we will enter your information into our customer data base for record keeping. The product is not to be returned to the Co-Op. It should be disposed of immediately. Only bring the UPC barcode in for verification or the original sales receipt.
